Noordam Family Overseas Holiday 2024

AUSTIN, TEXAS

We all had a bit of a sleep in and slow morning at home after the late night from the rodeo.

We started with an early lunch at Loro, creating Asian and Texas cuisine together.

Absolutely delicious!

Arabella and Ellie made a fairy garden.

The kids didn’t eat our amazing lunch, so off to sonic we went to feed them!

Then, we were off to visit ‘The Capital’. Pretty and informative.

I bought a lovely black dress (wardrobe change for me) and tommy bought a pair of black linen shorts, which were 👌

One thing I enjoyed when I travelled America 20 years ago was their pizza 🍕 Just plain cheese, there is nothing like it. Thin base, lots of flavour, and 1 slice was as big as your head! All for 99c.

So, when we walked past NY style pizza in Austin, we HAD to pop in for a slice.

Back to Ash & Steph’s for some respite, then we are off to their community pool. Such a great idea! This is something Australia should start doing.

Then, back to the house for the most delicious home cooked meal. You do miss those meals when you are travelling. We’ve eaten out so much, which has been great, but there’s nothing quite like a good old home cooked meal.
