Day Eight

Today, we are heading to NRH2O Family Water Park for a day of fun!

This was Arabella’s favourite ride. She is one brave girl.
This ride was fun, but the joints hurt your back. We only rode this ride once.
Dippin’ Dots, yeah! It’s a hot, hot day.

After the water park, Tom and Nath went to the shooting range. The kids and I went back home for a rest and I started packing.

Tomorrow, we leave for LA.

Breakfast for dinner at Di & Nath’s church. Everyone brings a plate to share. So good to experience some home cooked traditional Texan meals.

After dinner, we promised the kids we’d take them to Chuck E Cheese. We were all so tired, but we pushed on as it was our last night and last chance to go. It did not disappoint!

We all had a ball. It’s a big arcade place and had some mini trampolines too. Unfortunately, by the time we got there, it was only 20 minutes until closing time. The young man working said we could come in for free, but we just wouldn’t get any tickets on our games. Well, we were very happy with that. The kids raced around and tried as many games as possible.

Tom and I joined in for a few games too 😉
